Tara the Protectress, Buddha of Compassion
Tara is a Buddha who embodies the limitless compassion and wisdom within all of us. She protects from fear and obstacles and manifests however is needed. She heals wounds, inspires confidence, nurtures life, and cuts through what needs to be stopped.
She is one with the mother buddhas of the elements: earth, water, fire, wind, space; helping us reconnect with natural sources of freedom and strength, and guiding our actions as we benefit those around us.
Her practice uses mantra and visualization to empower our innate qualities, and to draw upon limitless support and blessings which are available to all beings. She has been relied on by countless practitioners for millennia, especially through difficult times, myself very much included:)
